Serial/RS-232 control of RealPresence Group 500 for Layout

HI everyone, 

Trying to control the screen layout and PIP options on our group 500 and can only do so via remote control at the moment. Does anyone know if this can be done using RS-232 instead.  The remote method seems very clunky.
