Hi,
I have HDX 9006.
The other day, I had to make a video call using a string like this: xxxxxxxxxx@ip_address
Usually, I would just input ip_address, but this time, I had a long string xxxxxxxxx (some numbers) in front.
What is this? Could someone tell me more?
Another thing: if I just used ip_address, I'd have a screen telling me to input the xxxxxxxxx string. But I cannot do so using the remote control. Is it possible to make the HDX let me enter the xxxxxxxxx part separately?
TIA
Hello,
Can anyone confirm or deny an integration using a Group 310, IP 7000, the IP 7000 Multi Interface Module, and 2 digital arrays?
I have read that the group 310 only supports an IP 7000 and 1 digital array, but does the multi interface module change any of that functionality?
I'd like to use the IP 7000 and 2 table mic arrays to cover a large room.
Thanks
Sean
Hi all,
I have a RPG 500 setup that I want to be be able to use to contact (voice/video) a US client, however, they use a system called Zulty's MXMeeting. I have been advised by other sources that it's unlikely the two are able to communicate but then a Polycom rep has told me that if MXMeeting supports Lync, SIP ir H323 then there is a possibility they could speak to each other. Bit confused!!
If the two cannot talk to each other what other options do I have on the table. Would Skype for Business be my best fallback or maybe the US client could use Real Presence Desktop to onnect to our RPG 500 system in the UK? How do either of those work? Presumably I'd need to setup Port Forwarding and if so which ports?
Would be very greatful for any help and advice.
Many thanks.
Today, when I tried an IP connection to 140.242.46.55 (EMEA Test number at UK), I got the "password" dialog!
Yesterday or the day before, I tried the same site but I didn't have this dialog. Someone please have a check.
By the way, I have tried the other sites
140.242.46.49
140.242.46.50
and the one at US
but they are not better (connection just cut off).
Someone please help.
I have the new 3.1.11 installed on a HDX 7000, 8000 and 9000. All are disconnecting around 50 minutes while dialed into my Cisco MSE 8510 MCU. I have multiple other systems on Software 3.1.7 and 2.7.3.3 that do not have this problem. I have verified the TCP KAINTERVAL through the CLI but calls still disconnect. The KAINTERVAL is set to 120 seconds. Any ideas how to correct this?
When dialing into a BlueJeans or Zoom meeting from our HDX 6/7/8000s if you don't dial the meeting ID fast enough, it will "freeze" & you'll have to press # to re-enter the meeting ID all over again or end the call & start over. Has anyone else seen this? Software running is 3.1.4. Happening with HDX remote control AND when dialing through Crestron via control panel. If there's a workaround w/ Crestron control to supercede the DTMF dialing or if there's a setting to make the DTMF code stay "awake"...that would be helpful to know. Thanks everyone!

So this has been asked several times. We run two technologies side by side in our conference room. Polycom HDX systems and Zoom Cloud Conferencing. To do this, we would need to have two cameras. the Eagle Eye for the HDX and a USB camera for the Zoom Room.
I've seen a lot of chatter on this over the years, but I'd like to know specifically if it is possible to replace the eagle eye camera with something that is USB capble and supports DVI-I.
The camera we are looking at is the Saber Camera VDO360
Anyone have any thoughts I've seen the HDCI breakout cables, but would that work? Can I use that to convert the signal to a DVI-I input?
Also, I am aware that we would not have the ability to use the remote control which is fine. It is built into our control panel and works that way.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Paul
Hi,
We have an HDX 9000, which had multipoint option enabled, out of order. We would like to know if the keycode for the multipoint option can be reused or tranferred to another HDX?
Thanks
Since updating to latest RP Desktop and mobile, Video playback on RP is a slide show of 1 to 5 FPS from SX20. SX20 does not have an issue. Attempted SIP and H323 both have similar results.
This issue was not in 3.6. We use SX20 for our consult rooms and RPD for provider side. Any one else experince this since the last update?
I am stuck as our iPads need the last update to resolve bluetooth speaker killing the audio stream when connetcted with latest iOS.
Good day All
Has anyone been able to successfully register a VVX 1500 to a DMA on H323.
I am working with the phone with a Sip registration for the PBX system and would like to register the H323 portion to the DMA so that I can have video calls routed from the outside.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Please note I have already attempted to register line 2 by disabling sip on that line and populating the H323 Gatekeeper as well as the Identification fields. I do not see any registration attempts on DMA side. (at least to my inspection).
Kind regards
IGuru
Hi,
I'm wondering if any of the HDX has the multipoint option enabled by default without the need to make additional order to buy it separately.
Thanks
Hello - we have a mix of HDX 6000/7000/8000 units in our environment. We're trying to simplify our User experience by having content show up automatically when a laptop is connected to a unit. I can select this option w/ the 6000 & 8000 units...but not on the 7000s. Is there a setting on the 7000 that I'm missing to allow for content to show automatically when a laptop is connected? The "send content when PC connects" checkbox doesn't seem to exist on the 7000s.
Thanks!
Mike
During the ongoing conference HDX 8000 switched to another conference without disconnection.
System details: HDX 8000 HD Rev :B

MCU 02 Details: Cisco telepresence MCU 4520

On running conference in MCU01 we mistakenly dial to HDX system from MCU02 then call got connected to MCU02 without any notification.
I currently have an HDX 7000 running System software version 3.1.7-48092. When the camera "wakes" up it takes a good minute for it to spin forward and fully focus. Is this due to the older firmware version? Will the latest software resolve this issue? The client isnt happy with this.
Can you help me please, how can i integrate HDX 8000 or HDX group 700 microphone arrays with Biamp Tesira Server?
We have installed a replacement Group 700 that we cannot get local content to be displayed locally when sharing during a call. When I set content to be shared and check the PIP settings, I cannot get the content to be displayed locally even though I can see it at the far end. I also cannot find where in the settings to enable content to be displayed locally along with the near and far end video.
I need to connect a camel EagleEye III IN A POLYCOM GROUP 310 What special cable do I need?
